Welcome back, Friends of Town Hall!

After a lengthy 18-month closure due to Covid-19, we are excitedly preparing to reopen Town Hall Theatre for a stellar 2021-22 season, featuring a lineup of concerts and theatre productions starting in October!

First up:  On Saturday October 2nd at 8:00 p.m. the curtain on Town Hall Theatre’s stage will rise for a very special event as we “Welcome Back Friends of Town Hall Theatre”.  A concert celebrating Port Perry’s 150th Birthday with a return to live performances!

Coming up: the reopening concert celebrating Port Perry’s 150th Birthday in October, a possible return of our GHOST TOURS OF TOWN HALL 1873 for Halloween and SCS Musicals’ brightly coloured DISNEY’S THE LITTLE MERMAID is set to swim into your hearts in late November.  And we are just getting started! In 2022, we look forward to the return of more concerts, a play by Borelians Community Theatre in February and a musical theatre revue by SCS Musicals in the spring, plus so much more! All to be announced as we navigate a safe return to live theatre!

We are thrilled to be #backonstage

Our reopening has been made possible in part due to funding received through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Resilient Communities grant program. We have been able to add upgrades and adapt changes and safety protocols at our venue to help keep you, our staff, volunteers, and our artists safe and healthy as we welcome you back through our doors this fall!

For up-to-date information on our Covid-19 response and protocols, including vaccination and maximum capacity regulations please visit our Covid-19 page online.

Stay smart and be safe, everyone. We hope to see you back in our theatre!

Interim Chair
